School Parent Council (SPC)
Every parent or guardian of a JQES student is a member of the School Parent Council (SPC). The SPC Executive Committee is an elected group of members who act as the "voice" of ALL the parents in the school community. The SPC works to enrich the JQES community by planning fun events for students and families! They also work to recognize the teachers, staff, and leadership for the tireless effort they continue to put in on behalf of our community.
The JQES School Parent Council raises money for events such as:
*Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day Breakfast and Gifts each May
*Childcare and food/refreshments for in-person SPC meetings
*Holiday events for students and families such as the Halloween Dance Party and MLK Jr. Day Ice Skating Party at the Steriti Ice Rink
